I honestly didn’t even know this was a classroom subject to be taught, before I read about it on the California Department of Education’s page. I was baffled and didn’t really know how to approach this, as I have never been taught it as a stand-alone subject —I didn’t even really know what I was supposed to cover.

It turns out in my Danish public-school education “Health” is covered in all the other classes - like PE, cooking classes (yes, that is a subject in the Danish schools), biology — so it is not a stand-alone thing. However, to make sure I cover it correctly I got the curriculum from Oak Meadow and occasionally checks boxes and makes sure we go over and cover most of the things in here. I only use the curriculum for me and try mostly to incorporate all the things in other subjects and unit studies.
